Box photo album
Once in a while crafts come easy, such as this Box photo album. However the journey towards the idea has been a long struggle.
Every month I try to make something for The Craft Lab´s creative challenge and Monthly Makers challenge. I´ve been really excited about this months creative challenge ”Junk” and the monthly makers October theme ”photo”, and for once I nailed two in one, yeay!
Lately I´ve had no energy or inspiration for creativity what so ever. I´ve had a few ideas for crafts I´ve wanted to try out, but most of them being to complicated and time consuming and having no time to try them out ment that I never got around to it.
When I saw Alicias photo album she made for this months Monthly Makers challenge, I got really inspired to try something along the lines of a family album.
I enjoy using material I all ready have at home and as it happened I had a stack of photos developed from last summer that I never got around to stick in album. I also found an old body shop container which I while clearing out my craft stash. A perfect match. Why not try making a Photo box family album!
This project took me 30 minutes and was really enjoyable. Everything doesn’t have to be about great ideas taking hundred of hours, sometimes it´s in the little things. The concept of the box album has great potential, why not making a letter or a party invite using this technique, it´s super easy and quite effective! You can even display the string of photos on the refrigerator if you want to show it off!
What do you think? Will you have a go at making one?
