Mini artwork with gelli plates 22 March

22/03/2018 6:00 pm 350 SEK

Do you like to play around with colour and  have an empty wall at home that needs some color to pop?

There are plenty of us who want to be crafty, but just don’t take the time to do it. The theme of this event will colors, monoprinting and mark making with gelli plates. We will guide you monotyping, working with a gelli plate and finally making art to bring home and put up on your wall.

The gel plates allow you to produce an intriguing pattern and textured print on fabric or paper with the use of tools like sponges, textured rollers, homemade combs, stencils, and rubber stamps.  We will experiment with metallic paints, dimensional paints, and gel mediums and create patterns using embossed papers, lace, corrugated cardboard, die cut letters — anything goes!
